Directions
In a medium bowl whisk together your flavored and unflavored gelatins until combined.
In a large saucepan on no heat, add your cold water (or juice).
Slowly and evenly sprinkle the gelatin over top the water in the saucepan.
Let the mixture sit for 5-7 minutes to let it bloom. Blooming is when your gelatin has absorbed all the added liquid and has swelled in size
Once your gelatin has finished blooming, turn the heat on to medium-low and let it melt. Using too high of heat will burn the gelatin, so melt it low and slow.
Once it begins to loosen, use a nonstick spatula or wooden spoon to break it up.
Once fully melted, turn the heat off and mix in the infusion (MBO/FECO, RSO, Distillate) and flavor extract until combined. Note, if your infusion is too thick it will not incorporate properly. If this is the case use a water bath to warm it up and loosen it before adding.
Pull from the heat and transfer to a pouring vessel. We recommend a silicone measuring cup or plastic squirt bottle for ease of pouring!
Pour into your gummy molds and let sit to cool briefly before transferring to the fridge to set.
After your gummies have fully set cover them with your lid to keep them fresh for longer!
Repeat the recipe for the second colored gummy and enjoy!
