Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf Football

  • 24 Slices bacon
  • 3 lbs ground pork
  • 3 lbs ground chuck
  • 2 Egg
  • 4 tbsp kosher salt
  • 3 tbsp black pepper
  • 4 tbsp garlic powder
  • 4 tbsp onion powder
  • 3 tbsp cumin
  • 2 tbsp smoked paprika

Cheese filling:

  • 1 Package pepper jack
  • 1 Package mozzarella
How To
  1. Preheat oven to 400º Fahrenheit.
    Mix the ground pork and beef in a bowl. Crack in the egg. Fold together with all seasonings and combine thoroughly.
  2. Make oval hole in meat mixture large enough for blocks of cheese
  3. Place cheese inside meat and mold meat over cheese forming a football.
  4. Lace meat with 12 bacon slices and start weave with one piece at a time until finished with other twelve pieces flattening the seasoned meat with the weaved bacon.
  5. Place the meatloaf onto a large baking sheet. Bake for 1.5 hours checking every 10 minutes thereafter to make sure it’s cooked.
  6. Serve and enjoy!
