Garyn Angel is an award-winning financier, inventor, and philanthropist from Port Richey, Florida, and the founder and CEO of MagicalButter.com™. His flagship invention is the Botanical Extractor, the world's first countertop appliance designed to infuse the essence of herbs into foods. While still serving clients as a financial planner in 2011, Mr. Angel conceived the device to help a severely ill friend prepare a natural herbal remedy.
When his friend enjoyed great relief using the prototype, Mr. Angel knew he had found his passion. He sold his successful financial practice to concentrate fully on developing his vision of a healthier planet. The importance of his growing enterprise was recognized internationally in 2014, when he was included on the prestigious CNBC NEXT List, an exclusive compendium of the top visionary leaders who will shape global commerce over the next 25 years. Qualifying for this award places an executive among the world's most influential business minds.
Mr. Angel is passionate also about sharing his success with others: His charity, Cheers to Goodness Foundation, makes life a little easier for children and families suffering needlessly for lack of extracts from common, abundant plants. Some who are burdened with heavy medical and relocation expenses receive monthly assistance from Cheers to Goodness. The charity is a natural outgrowth of one man's impulse to give critically ill kids a fighting chance and educate the world about the benefits of healthy herbs.
Joey Galeano grew up cooking beside his Italian mother and grandmother in their New York kitchen, and by age 14 he began working in restaurants. A former bartender, restaurateur, caterer, and private chef, Joey now has what he calls his dream job as executive chef of MagicalButter.com.
After years trying to get herbal oil and butter right using old-fashioned methods that left his kitchen looking like the aftermath of a slippery tornado, Joey discovered the Botanical Extractor, the first appliance to digitally control heating, blending, and steeping functions for easy, consistent extractions.
Even with a magic machine, Joey relies on his experience and training. "I've been a professional chef for more than 30 years," he says, "and this is the most challenging way to cook because strength and flavor have to be balanced at all times."
Joey has catered VIP parties, appeared in national media, and cooked at Michael Jordan's Steak House in Chicago (one of his personal highlights). He lives in the Tampa Bay area of Florida and tours the country with TeamMB making appearances at trade shows, festivals, and conventions, performing live cooking demonstrations and educating people about the benefits of healthy gourmet herbal cooking.
Never one to rest on his laurels, Chef Joey is constantly perfecting established recipes and creating new ones. He is honored that people have credited him with improving the quality of their lives by teaching them how to have more fun in the kitchen and Eat to Treat.
Born June 5, 1987 in Land O'Lakes, Florida, into a very close, loving family, Chris is a young man from humble beginnings on a quest to understand the world and do his part to make a positive impact. Chris comes from a place of compassion with each decision he makes: The needs of others come first. He has been described as an "indigo child", spreading kindness and calm everywhere. Part of that is sharing the benefits of healthy cooking and how important a healthy diet and lifestyle are to overall wellness.
As a student, Chris made the rounds as a server and bartender. While a mixologist at a posh resort, he perfected the craft of infusing alcohol with fruits. He happened to concoct some of his famous recipes, including apple cinnamon whiskey, espresso vodka, and pineapple rum, in an original Botanical Extractor from MagicalButter. Using the MB machine behind the bar and sharing its amazing capabilities with resort guests eventually led to getting his foot in the door at the company. At a trade show in Seattle in 2012, he met the machine's inventor, who invited him shortly thereafter to join the MagicalButter team. Today, Chris leads the TeamMB sales and support department. With an empathetic ear and a passion for people, Chris understands the needs of our customer family, whom he serves with confidence and respect.
