Super Hero aka Infused Bread
Rated 5.0 stars by 1 users
Ingredients
-
4 tablespoons of Magical Butter, cold, cubed
-
3 ½ cups of Bread Flour
-
1 ½ cups of Warm Water
-
1 package Instant Yeast
-
2 tablespoons Sugar
-
1 teaspoon of Salt
Directions
In bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the dough hook, add 2 cups of flour, then the water, sugar, and instant yeast.
Start off on low and mix for 4 min.
Add in salt and the rest of the flour one cup at a time, and mix for 5-6 min until the dough is super soft but somewhat smooth.
At this point your mixer should be at a medium speed. If your dough is not soft and smooth add a tablespoon of water at at time, but no more than 3.
If I looks too soft and sticks to the bowl a little add flour a teaspoon at a time, no more than 4.
Add in your butter cubes 1 tablespoons at a time. Mix for about 3 min or until the dough comes back together.
Remove from bowl and transfer to a greased bowl, then cover the bowl until the dough doubles in size. This should take about an hour.
Once that happens punch the dough down and place on a very lightly floured board.
Divide into 4-8 pieces and shape.
Transfer to a parchment lined tray and cover for another hour with plastic wrap.
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Bake for 16-23 min or until golden brown. Allow to cool before making your Super Hero sandwich!

Born and raised in Brooklyn, what most call Subs or Grinders we call them Heros. And with my Magical Butter I made what I call a "Super Hero". Why not have a sandwich that can take you higher than the average one?
